Dropbox acquires Mailbox
Today I share to my all blog viewers about a news Mailbox of Dropbox. Dropbox has just launched now acquired Mailbox for users. The all user email app for iOS devices which generated quite a buzz with its virtual queue for users to register.The Filesharing service Dropbox, has been trying to venture out and with this acquisition it will try to integrate Mailbox’s tech into its own services. Although at present it seems an acquisition for talent than the potential of the Mailbox app, which at present will have a standalone existence. Dropbox CEO Drew Houston added saying that he felt this 'could help Mailbox reach a much different audience much faster'.
Dropbox said it was "looking forward to making Mailbox even better and getting it into as many people's hands as possible".
Though Mailbox currently works with Google’s Gmail and Apple’s iOS only, the company has plans to extend its rich and to include other major platforms too. The Mailbox along with its unique reservation system has been creating hype in the Silicon Valley.
Dropbox said it was "looking forward to making Mailbox even better and getting it into as many people's hands as possible".It is allows iOS and Gmail users to save e-mail for specific times in the future, and includes push notifications and easy deletion to help people cope with overflowing inboxes.
